When it comes to online games, data is key. But can we leverage player data to bring back those who have left? Our “Battle Journey” project proves that it is indeed possible.
We developed a promotional website that allowed players to revisit their most memorable moments and achievements in World of Tanks. The site offered a personalized video chronicle, incorporating unique player data points, along with in-game and archived footage, custom artwork, and a playful approach.
The outcome was astounding, with over 3 million users actively engaging in the project. The positive feedback and social media sharing of their personalized chronicles further amplified its success.
