PLAYSENSE is a creative agency, spun out of Wargaming in 2022. Originally founded as a game trailer studio within Wargaming, Playsense has grown into a multi-disciplinary and award-winning creative agency. Our core services include game trailers (both engine and CGI), Unreal Engine production, branding, visual communication, in-game cinematics and complex campaigns driven by hard work and hard fun.

Our team of ~80 digital nomads is spread all over the world, including Portugal, UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Montenegro, Poland, Cyprus, Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey, Georgia, UAE, Vietnam, Indonesia and the US.

Role Overview:

At Playsense, we create cinematic trailers, in-game cutscenes, and promotional content using Unreal Engine. As part of our growth, we are looking for a skilled 3D animator who specializes in keyframe animation and polishing existing animations.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Maya and understand how to transfer and work with animations inside Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine keyframe animations for characters and objects.
  • Polish existing animations to ensure high-quality, natural movement.
  • Work with animations inside Unreal Engine, including importing and setting them up.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot animation-related issues in UE.
  • Collaborate with riggers, technical artists, and designers to ensure smooth pipeline integration.

Requirements:

  • Strong keyframe animation skills – this is the main focus.
  • Experience in Maya (or equivalent software) for animation creation.
  • Understanding of Unreal Engine animation workflows (importing, editing, working with Sequencer, Control Rig, and Animation Blueprints).
  • Ability to polish and refine animations to a professional level.
  • Knowledge of Motion Capture processing is a plus but not a core requirement.
