Originally founded as a game trailer studio within Wargaming, Playsense has grown into a multi-disciplinary and award-winning creative agency. Our core services include game trailers (both engine and CGi), Unreal Engine production, branding, visual communication, in-game cinematics and complex campaigns driven by hard work and hard fun.

Role Overview:

Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth within the video games and entertainment industry. This role requires a strong network, exceptional ability to build new relationships, and a collaborative approach to working with various internal teams. Fluent English is a must.

Note: If you’re not passionate about video games or don’t play them regularly, this role might not be the best fit. We're looking for someone who genuinely understands and loves the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the video games (PC & Console AA/AAA) and entertainment industry.
    KPI: value of briefs and pitches.
  • Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage leads, track progress, and report on business development activities.
    KPI: up-to-date CRM and transparent sales metrics.
  • Actively build and expand the network through Linkedin, industry events, and other relevant tools and activities.
    KPI: sales cycle length from contacting a cold lead to the brief/project.
  • Work closely with account management, creative, production, legal, and finance teams to develop compelling pitches and proposals.
    KPI: team feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong network within the video games and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar tools.

Remuneration:

  • Fixed payment: $24k – $30k USD gross.
  • Commission: 3% of the project budget (we target high-value opportunities).
  • Future options: potential for share options in the company based on outstanding contributions and long-term commitment.
