Imagine a post-apocalyptic world filled with brutal tanks, a unique protagonist, and a touch of dark humor. This intriguing combination formed the basis of a captivating advertising campaign for the mobile game World of Tanks Blitz during Halloween 2018.
In collaboration with the product team and Peter Pound, the renowned vehicle designer from Mad Max: Fury Road, we introduced Mad Games — an extraordinary in-game event. We weaved this event into the fascinating narrative of a fictional tank commander known as The Captain. This charismatic character took center stage in stylishly humorous announcement videos and a series of entertaining pre-rolls.
Together, we created an immersive experience that brought players into a dystopian realm, where they could navigate the challenges and embrace the excitement of the Mad Games event.
Production
We spared no effort in bringing our creative vision to life for the production of the advertising campaign. From daring videos and event identity to captivating key visuals, banners, supporting gameplay videos, a meticulously designed landing page, and even stylish T-shirts, every element was meticulously crafted to create a high-impact newsbreak.
By delivering a comprehensive and engaging experience across various channels, we successfully propelled the game's visibility and drove significant user engagement.
