To create an unconventional, yet understandable interactive promotional website for the in-game Mid-Autumn Festival.
Story
The Mid-Autumn Festival holds great significance in various East Asian cultures, as it is believed to be the time when the Moon shines its brightest and fullest. It is a cherished occasion for families to come together, celebrate, and indulge in traditional delicacies such as mooncakes. In 2021, World of Tanks joined in the festivities, inviting players to embark on a one-of-a-kind battle journey filled with excitement and the promise of enticing rewards.
Production
For this event, we created an engaging interactive promotional website where players could immerse themselves in two captivating graphic novels, representing two different aspects of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The first novel depicted a modern and vibrant setting, guiding players through festive locations filled with lively colors. The second novel took the form of a beautifully crafted book, narrating the legendary tale of a courageous archer.
By completing in-game missions, players unlocked chapters of the captivating legend and earned desirable rewards. This approach seamlessly blended the festive atmosphere of the holiday with its rich historical background, providing an active and immersive gaming experience for the players.

As a result, we successfully engaged over 28% of Chinese players, and an impressive 96% of event participants remained actively involved throughout the entire event period.
